RES/REI frames are designed and entirely made in Italy. The process requires many experienced people with unique skills. It's important to understand that technology itself is not enough to make quality frames: the human touch is necessary. It's the people who design and manufacture, step by step, our frames that make this possible. Each of our glasses is the result of a know-how that is passed from one generation to another, year after year.

Mazzuchelli Acetate is the main material that we use to manufacture our frames. Acetate, compared to plastic, is much more sophisticated and made from natural sources. As a matter of fact, the manufacturing process for acetate starts from a cotton flock. From our passion for color we make many unique acetate patterns. We internally design our motives, drawing inspiration from many things, from furniture to photography, from architecture to cinema movies. Each pattern we design is exclusion to our brand and helps
